Nervous System & Somatic Work for the Journey into Motherhood
The Work
Motherhood changes everything — your identity, your body, your relationships, your nervous system. It brings immense love and also cracks you open to parts of yourself you may have never met before.
This work is here to help you navigate that transformation with awareness and support.
In 1:1 sessions, we explore the inner terrain of motherhood through nervous system regulation, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, art therapy, and self-healing practices. You’ll learn how to work with what motherhood reveals — not resist it — so that every challenge becomes an invitation to deepen your capacity and come home to yourself.
Themes we often explore include:
Setting and holding healthy boundaries
Healing family-of-origin patterns and generational wounds
Integrating parts of your own childhood that resurface in parenting
Navigating identity shifts, emotional overwhelm, and relationship changes
Reconnecting with creativity, intuition, and self-trust
Increasing your capacity, so you can be the mother you want to be
You’ll learn practical tools for regulation, emotional processing, and self-compassion, but also begin to understand motherhood as a sacred initiation — a mirror showing you exactly what’s ready to be healed and expanded within yourself.
This isn’t about fixing who you are — it’s about remembering your wholeness, and stepping into the next, fuller version of you:
the woman, mother, and human you came here to be.
Sessions are available in Bellingham, WA and online.
The Process and Investment
This work is a process that unfolds over time — similar to therapy or ongoing coaching. We’ll typically meet weekly as you learn and integrate nervous system and somatic tools that support regulation, reflection, and self-healing. The goal is not dependency, but empowerment: for you to feel confident using these practices independently long after our work together ends.
Sessions are $150 for 50 minutes. I don’t accept insurance at this time, but I can provide a receipt or superbill if you have out-of-network wellness coverage.
