Bring your babies (or leave them at home) and your mat to spend time stretching and strengthening together. This class includes connection, gentle stretching, and beginning strengthening for postpartum bodies. All age babies are welcome, but know that once they get moving (crawling, toddling, running) it can be harder to find the “yoga” experience you seek, But if you want to try it, go for it.

Special Event: Prenatal Yoga and Empowered Birth Prep.

Next Round TBD

Sliding Scale $45-$60-$75

Whatcom Family Village, Bellingham WA

Here's what we will be up to in the three hour event:

  • Time for sharing and discussion of what's happening in your pregnancy, and your questions and plans for birth.

  • Time for a full length prenatal yoga practice to stretch and strengthen.

  • Time for a guided rest which can create instant shifts in your experience.

Discussion is woven throughout about:

What are the main practices I recommend to prepare for birth and motherhood and why (you've already been doing most of them in class!)?

How to "surrender" to birth while still feeling empowered.

Spiritual aspects of becoming a mother.

Skills for helping your body feel safe through it all.

Facing fears, pain coping, the truth about transition...

And whatever else comes up.
